I’m not sure if anyone noticed this during the game (I did but wasn’t sure it was Moses) but I’ll add a link here

He sounds fed up with the laziness of the pack. Only one of our forwards gained over 100m that game (Williams). Edwards barely cracked 90 and he was on for the full 80 mins. I can imagine it would be frustrating as a half playing behind a pack with no forward momentum. However he also needs to have a look at his own efforts as his defence was nothing short of woeful yesterday. A few of my personal thoughts on the current team -
- I don’t think BA is as bad a coach as everyone is currently making him out to be, however I do believe he is loyal to his players to a fault. He has failed to identify our need for bigger forwards. As much as we all knock Timmy he actually didn’t do too badly yesterday. The player we need to drop first and foremost is beau Scott. He comes on for about 20 minutes and runs for 40 metres. His statistics from yesterday show he only made 20 tackles and missed 2. He is ineffective and a passenger at this point. He’s the first change I’d make for the rookie Marata Nikuiore.
- Many will disagree with me on this but once Gutho is healthy I’d seriously consider dropping Norman entirely. Either put Smith at 6 or sign a cheaper one and use Norman’s huge contract coin (which is wasted on him) to grab a big bopper prop.
- Reflecting on the game 3 positives I found were - George Jennings was okay, especially his willingness to take hitups from the backfield - Williams was a welcome addition of size with an offload - we finished strongly which we can hopefully bring into next week.
All is not lost yet, however fingers crossed the rumours of tension within the team is not true. The link might suggest otherwise.

That’s OK, it just means he is passionate. I would suggest that would happen even when we are winning.
It’s just a shame that passion doesn’t shine through in his defence.
The forwards are slow and lazy and its about time Mitch and Corey called them out.
For all of their faults both of these guys are being made to look like park footballers by these lazy piss weak pack. BROWN INCLUDED the most overrated player in the league.
Brown overrated ... give me five more overrated browns any day then please.
Agree mostly
Dont Judge Scott by his stats. His stats always look terrible. However his contribution in the past has been invaluable. Not sure if it still is this year.
Haha not that he was wrong this time and he cared a lot more this game for obvious reasons but where was his passion all year. Let’s hope he shows it against all other opponents... Glass houses Mitchy! Shame someone didn’t call the same thing out to him when he gave up an easy penalty being a mile offside yesty or for his his dipshit efforts the past few weeks ... or how about when he lost his head getting sent off twice ...or his useless kicks etc etc
must be embarrassing for him dumping his past club because he was sick of not playing finals footy though.
It wasn't Moses but someone in the crowd.
exactly. Wasn't Mitch , but a fan in the crowd !
The fan did encapsulate what the fans were thinking tho!
We need someone out there on the field who does rip into them tho. Seeing waaaaay too much "hands on the hips" going on instead of getting into the faces of the players.
I remember seeing Taka do that a bit last year, getting right into the players faces and telling them what they needed to hear.
Like most of us eels fans, I'm bewildered by the form seen so far.
I'm not the coach, so I'm not going to say who the team list should or shouldn't be, but I think we ALL know there have to be some changes made......
AND YES .... I know it's been a while since I've been here ..... last year a mini stroke and recently being taken via ambulance to hospital (heart issues ... yeah I know, being a Parra fan can be enough to cause a bloke to have a heart attack in itself!!) ..... it's kept me quiet on a number of fronts!
