Moses Defence

He would have to be the most improved defender in the league.

Clearly he has put the work in.

Also, his goal kicking has been great. A credit to the man

  • Great game today by our number 7.

  • Fifth most missed tackles in the comp. Not sure what to make of this statistic as the highest number of missed tackles is currently held by Maloney.

    • Grunta, you have found MY GRUMPY pants? I was wondering where I had left them.

First contact, slow the player until lazy forwards arrive is helping - we have to be positive old son or .................. ? Hmmmm.

  • Credit where credit is due, Moses defence and goal kicking has improved. I'm still not sold on his game management. Needs to learn how to build pressure need more variation with his last tackle options.

    • I'd say Moses managed the game pretty well yesterday. His kicking game well and truly put the Tigers on the back foot and allowed Parramatta to spend large chunks of the game in the Tigers half.

  • His D in my opinion improved at the back end of last year. Might not show it With the stats of missing tackles etc, but he was actually slowing the ball carrier down a lot compared to 17 when he was just a speed hump. This year he’s improved even more so.

  • Moses is going to have a high missed tackle rate due to him being a half. Forwards running at him all game but he seems to be holding his own. Kicking was a worry early in the season but he has it on a string now.
