  • Never
  • Need to stop going for cheap buys on the hope they come good, when they are currently doing nothing great. Lets start getting players who are actually good, and performing well.
    • There were a few good big body and proven props available last year. We went after none of them.

      • Hold on Mutt, we targeted ole Fairy Floss Evans. U never know your luck in a big city, BA may get him fired up & inspire him to greater heights during the remainder of 2018.

We have got him for another 2 seasons so there is plenty of time for BA to coach him into form & find his missing ticker. He may just end up being the impact player that BA envisaged.

Fans have just got to be patient & trust in BA to prove his selection decision.

    • Yep. But even besides that, it's the general attitude of recruiting players who are a big toss of the coin. They've had injuries, haven't played for a long time, are out of form etc. Choc, T-Rex, Fa'aoso, Reece Robinson, O'Brien are all prime examples. Gutho & Wicks the best 2 who actually turned out as decent players who didn't get injured again early on, and played good footy. Jnr is a good start for next year. No point buying Vave, Matagi etc when in reality, 50% of the time they'll end up injured or not playing to FG standard. Even the recruitment of the 9 position has been poor. Peats, IDG & King are all injury prone guys who missed a lot of games. Kaysa was here already but we needed someone else who would stay healthy.
    • As the great Arthur said muttman, they have to fit into our style of play lol
  • Sounds great it really does parra for life. Maby get hock as well on a package deal. Geez I’m sick of this rubbish.
  • Old, shit and injury prone. No.

    • To become genuine premership contenders, WE MUST SIGN ORIGIN/INTERNATIONAL FORWARDS.
And if we don't sign at least one out of Shannon Boyd, Pangai Jnr, or Paseka from Manly in addition to next seasons purchase of Junior Paulo, then we will still be USELESS LOSERS.

      • Brad Arthur, no more signing journeyman, fringe first graders, backups, and phucking bench forwards.
NO MORE PLAYING "MONEY-BALL". We must sign the best quality forwards available to help Nathan Brown, Jnr Paulo, Moeroa and co. Mannah on the bench with Evans when he's brought himself back up to standard, and Rey Stone getting blooded off our bench too.
