We all saw the potential Mortimer had in his first year in 2009, I dont know if it's just me, but i think Mortimer will have a great year in 2011 after pretty much suffering second year sydnrome in 2010, which isn't always a bad thing, it happens to many players, especially halfbacks. He will learn a lot from 2010, and I think he will be a great player in 2011.
What you guys think? U reckon he will do good this year?

Im not sure, yeah i think his contract expires this season. His chance to help make the club decide whether to keep him or not. Either way if he does good or bad i think we should keep him i mean, he is young and he is one of our only players to a decent halfback in the future.
If he gets good enough he would be perfect for NSW, he is young and he would play in the team for years and fit in perfectly, just like Thurston, NSW gotta pick a young team from now and stick with it.

Forwards on a roll with Hayne getting good service (instead of trying to make all the breaks for himself) and Morts will shine again.
Just had a funny thought - that is what is making Cooper Cronk so damm good.
Great forward pack with a FB just waiting for the smallest chance. LOL
Is SK onto something when he says he sees similarities?
LMAO
I only said "similarities" stiffler.
Don't get greedy now - you can't have everything. lol
I'm not sure if he is going to turn into a brilliant half but I think we at least need to give him another season to prove himself.
Anybody remember when Thurston began at the Dogs?
To run a quality team around the park is a tough ask for a young, relatively inexperienced half, especially if the team is struggling like the Eels did last season.
I'm reserving my judgement till the end of the season. I really hope he fires though.
