I know that mortz has been in awful form in 2010 and has played hafback for pretty much all of 2010 but this will no doubt teach him into being a bettter halback/five eighth think about in the off season mortz has already bulked on a extra 4 kgs in my opinon he needs to bulk it on around the legs. He has turned into a great tackler and that is very handy around a number 6/7.
Maybe we need to take a page out of St George's book with Beau Scott protecting Jamie Soward and limiting Sowards defence So maybe we could have Ben Smith protecting mortz think about in 2010 everyone was running at him exhausted him and he had nothing to spend in attack thus providing crap last tackle options.
Kearney must mold mortz into a great kicker and this will be a hard thing to do and mortz needs to develop a expansive passing game i think if he could form a combination with one of our ball runners such as Tahu or Horo this could become very handy.
Parra will be team like we havent seen for a long time we will have the same style of play as say melbourne storm its what kearney has learned and it works he has expieranced of two of the best coaches in the Nrl Bellamy and Bennett.
Expextation crushed mortz in 2010 and now that expectation has gone of his shoulders he could be ripe to perform.
An expieranced half would be great to have in 2011 whether its Thurston, Orford, Lelulia, Wing i dont bloddy care the list goes on and on i hounstly dont care as long as he has played more than 100 first grade games i dont really give a crap. But on the other hand if we dont get any halbacks well we have make do.
- A bigger player to help him defend (Ben Smith)
- Make him a better kicker !!!!
- Expand his pasing game
- Expand running game
- Form a combination with a ball runner (Tahu/Horo)
- If we get an expieranced half that would be great
