Mortimer and Inu train strongly

Daniel Mortimer has made it through a light training session, while Krisnan Inu trained strongly yesterday, suggesting both are better than even chances to be right for tomorrow night, the Daily Telegraph reported today."Mortimer, who has undergone intense physiotherapy three times a day since he injured his left hip, took to Parramatta Stadium by himself just after 5pm. He kicked the ball and jogged, showing no sign of discomfort, before joining Andrew Johns for a skills session.""In another piece of good news for Eels fans, centre Krisnan Inu trained strongly without any strapping around his injured hamstring."FULL STORY AT THE DAILY TELEGRAPH

  • Love it.
Especially where he joined Andrew Johns for a training session. That is worth it's weight in gold.
    • He was a great player, but that doesn't make him a great coach
  • i really hope morts is fine for friday, but who would come into the team if he isn't?

    Brod Wright? Latimore? anyone else?
    • Would almost certainly be Brod Wright
      • yeah thats what i thought.

i'm kinda surprised Wright gets a go over Latimore now, i thought lats looked a lot more up to it in his couple of games than brod has.
  • We will need them ready to go also

"The chances of him being our 6 next year are very low, if he was a serious consideration he would be playing 6 now with dylan at centre. I'll be very surprised if he is our starting 6 next season unless he gets a lot more time there this season. "

Joeyboyz replied to Hector's discussion Young Joash papa extends
"I think Joash is a good player, but from what I've seen only at fullback or on the wing. Those positions we've got pretty well covered, so I guess he's a great back up option. I'd like to see him in 1st grade, but I dont know how he fits in?"
