"When speaking of immortals, I can't fathom how Eels players can get overlooked.
Surely a real case could be made for Kenny, Sterling, Price, Cronin.
Its an abomination that not one of them have the honour."

Its interesting reading that Easts and Cronulla have room in their cap; i assume this is dependent on moving on players....
ha yes; one of my favourite Seinfeld shows the Urban Sombrero; interesting seeing P Kent being positive about Parra it seems.
Kent will wait for Hayne to fail and then lay the boot in, don't worry!
At his best he would be a good recruit. But does he fit in to the team, what position does he play and at who's expense. He would cost too much to put on the wing and his best position is fullback so where does this leave Guth when he is fit and French! Guth to centre, he fills in okay at centre but is not a fulltime centre. Guth to fullback Hayne to centre Taka to bench and French to 1 wing could work though I believe French has to bulk up to play wing so this is plausible. Does he fit the team and culture? Not too sure about this, a big gamble if he is toxic like everyone says and has not grown up and is a team player.
Interesting comments about his brand. I posted this comment in a Hayne blog back in Feb.
"LOL I think it has probably started sinking in for Judas that his brand 'Hayne' means nothing and is worth nothing.
Had he returned to Parra like he promised, he would have been welcomed back with open arms. More than likely he would have been assured a job for life with the club, along with being revered as a club legend with a stand named after him.
The problem for Judas is the majority of Australians like a man of their word, so he broke his and back flipped for a few 100k extra for 2 years he totally alienated his core supporter base as well as a large section of the general public."
That said I am willing to take him back for the right price and if he plays for the team - not just himself.
