  Honestly can't see him coming back. Partly I hope he starts killing it so we can put an end to these rumours. Beavis DOES manage other players. It's getting tiring seeing this constantly in the media. They're guessing in the hope that if it did happen, they'd jag the credit for "scooping it" even when they were actually just guessing without any solid info. I can't see him coming back to NRL ever. Why would he make such a huge decision to leave, then just quit halfway through whathe had been thinking/dreaming/aspiring to for the past few years? Surely that would be a huge regret for him if he turned his back on it too early and returned. NRL wasn't challenging him enough, the NFL clearly is, and probably always will, so can't see any return unless he no longer wants the challenge of it sometime down the track. Is that really likely knowing what we know, and have seen from Hayne?

    i agree on it getting annoying TK , thats why i posted it , i can't help but feel like there is a hidden agenda with the shmuck Phil and Nick P .. plus I'm sure BA signed most of the players we got on a 1 year contract giving hope hayne returns next year , so why would the roosters who had to make way for players be able to get him with the nrl help and we cant ?

    As others have noted, our signings have been smart in terms of contract length AND money, which means we will have plenty of options going into 2017 with many players off-contract, after we retain our core group (Junior, Norman, Peats). Buzz's level of journalism is worthu only of the DT, and it's a dry Monday in off-season, so it's no real surprise they run such a story.

    Captain Hayne himself said if he ever returns it will be tot he eels , but like you said the way it seems it buzz is pushing for him to the roosters , hope who ever told you that is on the money cause  id be shattered if he went to the roosters or any other nrl teal at that !

    well the way it looks and and with the day in day out BS articles about it by buzz dose seem like he really dose hate the eels which is why i say he has a hidden agenda .

          Agree with that Mack, and where theres smoke theres fire, i wouldnt be the least biot surprised if he came back to Easts, id probably be more surprised if he came back here.

            Has anyone mentioned the power of Jodie ?? His mum and him seem close , do you think she may encourage him to honour his word to parra . Even at 4 and 8 my boys would walk on hot coals for me .... Dad gets no look in lol

    Capt i dont think its going to be that easy at all, if he comes back i think theres a very good chance he might be looking for a change and a new challenge, there is nothing at all saying he will be back here imo.
