Moimoi's mum doesn't like his hair

Eels chairman Ray Spagnola surprised prop Fuifui Moimoi by flying his son, mother and younger brother from Tonga to watch yesterday's game."Sani texted me from Auckland on the weekend and it got me thinking about getting him over for this game,'' Spagnolo told The Daily Telegraph."I wanted it to be a surprise for Fuifui, so he stayed with my family all day and we kept him out view at the stadium until fulltime.''Fuifui's mum Manise said she hadn't seen her son play since visiting last year, as the Tongan island the family lives on cannot receive NRL broadcasts."The only way I can see him play is to come to Australia. It's great to see him again, but I don't like his long hair. I want to cut it short like his brother.''

    what a great story, i love stuff like that, it shows that the club actually cares about it's players and their families. Good job Ray, somehow i don't think Dennis would have done something like that. Well Done!!!

    Awesome stuff, put a smile on my face for sure, something I can't imagine Fitzy doing. Plus it's also a very smart move by management, the club shows committment and compassion to Fui, who do you think he's going to stay with even if other clubs offer him big money????

    Awesome story. What a wonderful surprise it would have been for Fui to not only see his son but also his mum and brother. Good on you Roy that was beautiful what you did for Fui.

    Not only should Fuifui not cut his hair, but I call on all Eels fans to avoid the hairdressers until our streak comes to the end. I can tell you, my mop is getting away from me, but I dare not visit the shearers for upsetting the applecart.
