Moimoi cleared, Keating carves up

Fuifuif Moimoi has been passed fit to play so the Eels are likely to go into the match against Newcastle as named, unless Daniel Anderson has a last minute change of heart related to Feleti's Mateo inclusion. Mateo had been on standby for Moimoi, however now that the Eel's prop has been cleared of the niggling injury that has troubled him in recent weeks, it appears unlikely he'll be back this week. Also a good chance of returning next week is Kris Keating, who was in dynamic form for Wentworthville as they routed Windsor 62 to six. Keating scored a try and had a hand in several more, as well as kicking a bag load of goals and would have done his NRL selection chances no harm with the dominant display.

  • I think he'd probably prefer to give Mateo another week to get that little more fitness under his belt, but then again, if he gets jittery about whether we have the strike power to put the Knights to the sword who knows?
  • onya KK thats my boy,
  • Great to see KK to do well on his return. Despite what some believe, he has a fabulous future ahead, hopefully always in Eels colours. I can see KK and Mortimer leading Parra through some great times..
  • Can't wait to see KK and Morts tearin it up... Sad to see it will be at the cost of Robson... He has really proven his worth of late!
  • Real good news on KK
  • I wonder is DA is worried that our staunch defense of recent weeks will be compromised with the inclusion of Mateo?
  • Best way for Mateo to get fit is match fitness let him play.
  • Mateo needs to do a lot of running to get fit. I don't think his fitness level is up to scratch for more than 50 minutes.
    • they named the team on the footy show saying mateo to be given another week
  • KK in asap!

if galuvao is injured for a couple of weeks as said by joey johns bring mateo in.

"Galvin to the dogs might also be the reason why the team was all over the shop last night. This type of signing would have all kinds of repercussions fir their team. Everyone trying to anticipate who's going to be cut or moved to another position."
