Moi Moi's future still undecided?

I noticed the Daily Telegraph article of player movements says that Fui's future is still undecided. Can anybody confirm this? Any further info?

  • Bring him back for 150k for 1 season.
    • Why not, we are keeping dead wood like Seffa. Lets bring Benny Smith,Cayless,Burty and Hindy back.

We should get Doc Emmett Brown to coach us, and the team should be sponsored by Delorian.

      Great Scott indeed.

  • Well, all you guys banging on about the Watmough 4 year signing should consider how you have blasted the crap out of Fui OUR club legend, the last couple of years and him not being up to it due to his age.

I really hope that we can sign FUI this year as a mentor to our young players, and not have to shame him into going elsewhere. He would be a much better role model and off field example than anyone.

    • I don't believe it's because Fui Fui is too old, it's because since the glory run of 2009, he hasn't been able to change up his attacking style and the opposition worked him out, that and the fact he was only good for about 20 minutes out of the eighty required for his pay packet!
  • Like Watmough wanted at Manly

Would love to see him added to off field staff.

  • Would prefer to see Fui over in the UK rather then playing park footy for Wenty. Would be different if the NRL would bring back reserve grade but Fui doesn't deserve to finish his career playing at Ringrose park.
  • Age has caught up with Fui and his playing days for Parra are over.  As for his future moves, I'm unsure whether he intends to play on in the U.K. or travel to the U.S. to unite with his family. If he did decide to remain in town it would be a clever move by the club to employ him in a Mentor type role for our young islander players.

We've looked after Cayless, Hindy and Burt in that fashion and I imagine Fui would be just as rewarding an acquisition.

It would be rewarding for us as well just to see his smiling face around the traps.

    • 100% agree!

"He got wider in attack, particularly towards Mam side of the field that helped him poke the nose through and make metres. Brisbane were back peddling the whole second half bar one set on our own line where Samrani stayed down and Reynolds went off."

"De Belin looked way better in his 2nd stint. But his sole purpose is defence, in that portion of the game where Brisbane middles tried to wrestle back momentum in the middle he was solid in defence. "
