Moeroa Enters Early Guilty Plea

Parramatta Eels forward Tepai Moeroa has entered an early guilty plea today for a Grade 1 Shoulder Charge following the Eels’ Round 3 clash against the Gold Coast Titans on Friday 17 March.

The charge was for a tackle on Titans half Ash Taylor in the 29th minute of the game. 

Moeroa will not be available for the upcoming Round Four clash against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at ANZ Stadium on Saturday 25 March.

      Pretty sure he plays in the middle. But to be honest I have no idea if he can play on the right. From memory he only played in the middle for souths too. Happy to be proven wrong and maybe he is capable of running wider.

    Tep has been very good in defense this year.

      I agree.  Sharks carved up our right side defence last year.  I will be nervous if Scott moves to the right edge as Moloney is too quick for him.  I'd be tempted to move Ma'u to the right edge and Scott to the left edge for this game only and Brown to lock.  I'd also prefer Terepo at right edge and then Scott.

    I think your last sentence could be on the money. BA doesn't like to make too many changes, so bringing someone in to cover for Tep seems most likely to me.
