I think it’s time to make a blog about the moderation of this site. This is Phillips site and we all respect that. However, Phillip needs to know from us fans of the site if the moderation is to a quality standard and what better way is to ask the fans.
There has been multiple times a blog disappears into the abyss and never seen agaIn because it wasn’t promoted into top blogs, not because it had no traffic but for the simple clear reason it wasn’t what the moderator deemed worthwhile, what right does a moderator have to not promote a blog which has substance and fans are talking about at the time. In the same breath moderators are promoting their own blogs which are not of much interest to us fans.
IMO,their should be a voting system where us fans have a say on promoting a blog in reason, without breaking the sites rules. I would also suggest there should be a review on who moderates this site.
if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations on moderating this site please feel free to add them here.
I do know it’s volunteering to become a moderator but I feel us fans are being let down by the moderator s time and time again.

The top blogs situation has been diabolical here for a long time, well said mate, i think top blogs should be done by numbers, it should be automated.
I spend time on every teams forum, not registered of course. This one is the grubbiest by a country mile

1) Moderators don’t “promote” their blogs to Top Blogs, they are automatically a Top Blog unless they personally change it.
2) Yes, moderators have the ability to control debates, that is the whole point of moderation. It is a privilege of being a mod, if you think it can be done better put your hand up to do it.
3) If the mods are pissing everyone off then they are probably doing their job.
The moderation changed ages ago Poppa , what planet have you been on . Free speech is only allowed here as long as it’s free speech that Super agrees with .
Brett , as part of posting a blog you have the option to chose where it goes. So you’re virtually saying mods are so tired after writing their essay length walls of boredom that they simply don’t have the energy in their fingers to select where it goes ? Because I have too much faith in you to think you’re telling us you think that no mater how unappealing 80% of the readers might find a mods self absorbed wall of brain masterbation , seeing your own thread pearched in the Top Flogs is some kind of reward for being a mod ?

Ok, we have a blog started from Bert which has gained plenty of traction,with over 5200 views and 16 pages and climbing.When is this blog going to be upgraded to top blogs?
This blog doesn't break any rules. Can we get an explanation why it isn't promoted?
