Just confirmed on Fox Sports, Moses will be realeased immediately after the Easter Monday game for Round 8 - confirmed through his management.Mitchell Moses will be forced to play against the club he could be released to join next week, with the Wests Tigers to name the five-eighth in their 21-man squad for the clash against Parramatta. It comes as the Eels asked Moses' management to waive their rights to a 10-day cooling-off period amid concerns the Tigers could convince him to renege on his Eels contract, which was lodged to the NRL last Thursday.AdvertisementWhile Parramatta are desperate for Moses to join the club to help buck a four-game losing streak, his inclusion in the Tigers line-up could jeopardise the switch. If Moses were to be injured during the Easter Monday clash at ANZ Stadium, it would be considered a deal-breaker for Parramatta, who will likely have to fork out $250,000 to lure Mitchell to the club this season.Parramatta officials, who on Monday sought assurances from Moses' management that he wouldn't renege on the deal, were shocked to hear the Tigers were planning on playing the five-eighth given the moral dilemma he faces squaring off against the team he may join a day after the gameRELATED CONTENTCleary won't rule out asking Moses to backflip on Parramatta dealIvan's law: Be the player your teammates want to play withWhile the Tigers insist they won't be bullied into a decision by the Eels, they are aware that allowing Moses to leave this season would increase their chances of retaining the off-contract Aaron Woods and James Tedesco.Moses' immediate defection would provide the Tigers the opportunity to forward-pay the contracts of the representative duo into this year's salary cap, making it nearly impossible for rival clubs to match the money on offer at Tigertown.

  • Nobody touch him during the game dammit
    • Get back Sandow to mark him for just one game. He won't get hurt .

  • Does this mean we are only paying 250k for him or we are paying the tigers that much
    • Tigers don't need cash, they need cap space.
  • If the Tigers need him to be gone to forward pay the other two then realistically holding onto him for this game is a big risk . If they're admitting they can't win without him then they've pretty much kissed the season goodbye anyway .

Saving face I guess incase he tears them to shreds and everyone says they're dumbos .
  • Mose could even help us win the match, giving his upcoming club the needed 2 points.
    • Lol, think it but don't say it out allowed.

    • What big Dave said
  • I don't agree with you all the time Brett but that is a really sensible idea and seems very logical!! If only the NRL well logical
  • Geez! I don't want to put the mockers on anything but didn't the great Luke Kelly play against us the week before joining us on a mid year deal in 2012?
