I saw Mitchell play in the juniors rep teams and he was an absolute freak of a player, best junior player I ever saw live. Last year he showed glimpses of his ability but struggled with the physicality of the NRL due to being light weight. This year he went to the next level and has been improving week to week. Today he was very, very good and we are seeing a future State of Origin player. We saw recently when he shopped himself around for 900K that he has considered moving clubs if the money is right. As he is off contract at the end of 2017 I would be offering him massive money to come to Parra for 2018 onwards, although I suspect he will want a lot more then Norman to make the switch.

You will find 500-600K for 2018 onwards will be a base salary for a starting NRL half. State of Origin quality halves for 2018 onwards will be up around the 800-950K when the salary cap dramatically increases in 2018. It is rumoured the salary cap will jump by another 3 million for 2018, therefore talented spine players will be very well paid.
Yes My pick already...throw the bank at him and can kick goals!!!!!
I would like to see him sustain this form for longer. Remember earlier in the year the bloke couldn't tackle a light post and everyone was cursing him. Lets all see how he goes after the off season and into next year. If he keeps this up through next year then 100% go for him.
We haven't had a good run with throwing large amounts of cash at people.
Lol, I think I had one of those shirts when I was in my prime :)
Consolidating all 4 caps into one would be an utter disaster, teams like the roosters would spend as little as possible on lower grades and juniors and spend most on purging other clubs of the best talent for first grade.
He was in the talent squad for Matts and was groomed to play 6, apparently he told the coach that he was a 7 and if he wasn't picked there he would go to Balmain as they had told him that was where he could play. The coach stood his ground , and the rest is history. Don't believe all the stories about being told he was too small which is what they have said on tv, which is a typical media story but not correct
There are some decent 7s coming through the junior reps currently, but a few years away unfortunately
I'm not sold on Moses yet.
He's been pretty terrible outside of this last 6 weeks or so, in his career so far. If he can be consistent and actually supporT Tedesco - who at this stage, is the Tigers biggest attacking threat - than perhaps.
But if he goes back to his shell and old self at the start of 2017 thus highlighting his inconsistency, then it'd be a big pass from me.
I think BA will be more interested in Reynolds as he has a very good kicking game and is very strong defensively.
