Mitchell Moses Future

Interesting we win a game when he’s out. Bit hard to call cause we had some big names back.I rate Mitchell’s talent, but he needs to learn to work with the guys around him. I think in an origin team with switched on players around him he would shine, but he’s got to realise in club footy that there are some not so bright boofheads around him that aren’t going to read his mind every play. Yelling (he seems to like screaming orders lol) at them is just going to confuse them more.I think he needs a mentor than can channel his competitiveness to work with the team, and not to expect everyone to be there just to finish of his plays. Most the time most the players have no idea what he’s trying to organise.I’ve bagged Moses a bit this season, but still think he can have a great future. He’s very young and hot headed and just needs to compose his game and I think he can become the half we want.

  • Come back to 5 8th still a lot of maturing to do he is not a dominant half yet.

  • Norman called every play yesterday and proved he could run the show. Too many egos at parra atm. They proved they can work together in 17, but it's the lack of go forward that's killing the club atm.

Arthur is squarely to blame for recruitment failure in the forwards with Brown his only decent signing in five years.

One good forward signing is a disgrace
    • Actually would be a number of factors in recruitment salary cap drama will be up there.

      • Yes like buying Watmough scott vave Evans matagi  FP willams Gower idg

    • Norman called every play and kicked 2 balls out on the full. Droppef the ball numerous times and got caught with the ball on the 5th once and luckily not twice.

      Norman isnt the future Chief

      • bullshit outrunna

    • ABSOLUTELY CORRECT CHIEF

    • What game were you watching Chief ?   Think you must’ve clicked on the YouTube highlights clip Corey’s mums put up of her sons illustrious career .  Didn’t you realise something was wrong when the game was over on 28.05 seconds ?

  • So Maybe Manu Mau was to blame he didn’t play either
  • Completely agree. He needs to learn to direct a team around a bit more, make sure everyone is on board with what he is doing (More often than not) and not go for try scoring plays on every play, play for field position and build pressure when nothing much is happening. I think his kicking game needs the most work. Most of his kicks are attacking kicks which just don't work when the entire team is on the back foot and to tired to chase. Kick for field position and just slow the play down and build pressure. He is a talent though and could use someone like Fitler to help guide him. Still our best option for half back though.

"Whose going to do the main goal kicking this year? Moses, Pezet, Russell ? Or maybe another? Pezet is very good. Moses very good, Russell ok but struggles with kicks that are closer to the sidelines. "

"Just no injuries please. I dont care if we lose. Means nothing if we rock up to Melbourne round 1 and get flogged.
Mitch should kick a few balls, make 1-2 tackles, pass the ball once or twice and then come off.
