Mitchell Moses Dally M chances

One of my friends who isn't an eels fan is trying to tell me he is a realistic chance and I can't quite see it, but when voting shut off in round 12 Moses was 4 off the leader Pearce. We had a strong back half of the season and Mitch was strong in a lot of those games, has he done enough to pass Pearce and get halfback of the year? Could he be an even bigger shock and be the Dally M player of the year? I personally think Tedesco was way more consistent and he was a point in front of Moses after round 12, but I'm trying to cast my mind back from round 13 onwards, how many of those matches do we think Mitch will poll in? Hopefully he gets a top 5 finish as this will be great for his confidence and he can take it forward into next season

  • It will be Cameron Manipulator Smith.

  • Good chance for halfback of the year I reckon, probably not Dally M winner tho.

  • He probably is chance and featured in many of our wins. But was he really the halfback of the year? Or even player of the year? Nah.

    • Who’s halfback of the year then? DCE? I think they’re about level

      • Pearce did get 5 mom awards in a row and probably picked up 3 Dally M points in all 5 of those games, i think he will go close to halfback of the year on the back of that.

          • Ok, that gives him a real shot then.

  • I reckon he is a good chance. For the second half of the year he was close to our best in our wins, and we won quite a few.

  • This is what The Lurker reckons

Sporting News  tracked the weekly Dally M votes, and with voting behind closed doors after round 13, it has been handed off to  The Lurker .
