What more can a halfback do? He turned the tide of the game early with a great kick only for Hodgson to kick it dead.
He helped get us in front, drew a penalty on them attacking our line...we then blew the lead again through no fault of his and he helped us pull it close again. His goal kicking let us down again though.
The big issue for Parra is the useless outside backs. The diabolical errors in attack and defence between Simonsson, Waqa and Penisini inparticular. They cant defuse kicks, they overrun kick chases., cant get their communication right in defence. Theyre the ones letting us down badly. Simonsson's mistake was a deadset howler , he also let a guy run right through him which put pressure on the others for Turbos first try and cant put a dude in touch when he makes contact with him 1 metre inside the touchline. He was diabolical. Colletively our outside backs have been horrible to start the year.
If we kick the goals it's game even. Hodgeson stuffed up once but also got us back in the game. Moses done nothing and simply was a passenger once again.

His game apart from that was excellent and if you say he was only a passenger it neans the shed door was shut and your "blunt" instrument could not unlock it.
Yep, simmonson and waqa need to be dropped. First grade players can't continue to make basic errors and stay in first grade, it's school boy level stuff.
Dunster needs to be on the wing and cini in the centre, I would be willing to give simmonson a run at centre since he did pretty well there last year but he should never be picked on the wing again.
One comment on that post Scottie, when Hodgson kicked that ball dead it was a dead set try set up.....any kick is only as good as it's chasers. Lack of awareness from the chasers, we score the try JH is a hero.
