Mitchell Moses

  1. Mitchell  Moses appreciation blog.  Played excellent  considering what he had to work  with.  Looked very dangerous  in attack.  Over the past 6 weeks game management has come in leaps and bounds.  Great 40-20 today prob the reason the score was closer.  Great goal kicking.  Wasn't  a fan when there was talks of resigning him.  Starting  to show his pay packet.  If we can land an origin prop and back rower our defense  will tighten up.  On pen and paper Many are up there only  roosters,  storm and bunnies have better teams.  They did well to only Lise by 12 could of been by 50

  • We also have fergo,  Waqa Blake and mjennings to come back we will be a better side.  We would have to have the youngest spine in the league

    • i was told fergo could have played yesterday, but brad needs him fit for next week with wanga blake  and the run home..

maybe it was a good move on the 36/24 result..

      • Robert,  Fergo is in hospital with a knee infection, won't play this weekend

  • Moses was not our issue whatsoever today. He looked good behind a SEVERELY beaten pack.

Our middle third Defence was passive. No one stood and to make a statement. Very disappointing

    • Regardless of his try, i noticed Nath Brown hasnt returned to his best after coming back from injury, a shadow of the player he was first year here.

Hopefully he hits his straps soon.

      • Yeah i thought he was very ordinary today and even Lane was below his usual standard.

      • Brown was our best forward last week. Possibly not his best game ever today but he is a little over a month back from serious injury and he has been outstanding in most matches. Very hash to be critical at all of Brown. Big reason for our winning month of footy before today and wasn’t bad today by any means. Our poor forwards today were Mau and Evans.

  • Sorry with grammar.  Dunno how to edit.  The last sentence  should say: on pen and paper manly are up there.  Only roosters,  storm and bunnies have  better teams.  Eels did well to only Lose by 12, could of been by 50

  • Moses was easily our best today. Never gave up, kid plays with his heart on his sleeve every week and gives 100%. Unfortunately for some reason he’s always used as a scape goat on here after each loss, fact of the matter is within a season he’s become our best player, has had a great year and is career best form, looked very good in a losing side, playing with a lot of confidence at the moment. He was definitely worth re-signing and worth every penny. Only 24, he’s gonna get better.

  • He was very good again
