Mitch Pearce Number 9.

With all these rumors about Cronk heading to Roosters, there's been different reports on which of the halves would make way for Cronk to take the 7.Lets say Cronk signs with roosters next year with pearce getting moved on, would you guys be interested in him coming to the eels as the hooker?Reckon his got it in him?Just a thought that came to mind over a cheeky beer.

    He will get plenty of offers as a half, he wont be going anywhere to play out of position at hooker, wont happen Jazza.

     Pearce is a dead set loser at 7 so why would he perform at 9.? Why are Easts going for Cronk? Its taken them 10 years to see what is obvious. Back in the late 1940`s it was a common view that the Parramatta executives and coaches etc could not tell the difference between a footballer and a pumpkin.If they fall for Pearce, so many years on, the pumpkin viewers are still among us. Truly, the more things change the more they stay the same.

    Agree, he goes ok at club level, gives a lot more effort and heart than Corey does.

    Pearce off !!!! .... Plays tough, kicking game would be up there for a 9, but reminds me too much of Carney, wouldn't take a chance on him

"I wrote this in July 2025. So back when I wrote it he obviously hadn't played nsw cup yet. Now I obviously think he will and should be the 5/8 in cup"
