According to NRL360 the likelihood is than Moses will stay, and Staggs is coming too.

They share the same manager who is positioning for them to be together at a successful club.

Eels having a major recruitment and retention meeting Friday, but Moses has already been presented a recruitment plan and offer, with him being central to us breaking our premiership drought.

  • Moses already said he wants to stay at Parramatta. I believe this deal will be done within a week and I also think Staggs is keen to come here and the only reason we sounded out interest in Gagai was to bring forward the deal with Staggs.

  • I have a feeling staggs is coming

  • If Moses resigns and Staggs joins us next, I will be so happy. Moses surely at least 900k, and I think Stagg's injury and off-field drama will reduce his price. Hopefully a change of scenery, a better culture and club will help Staggs off-field as his on-field behaviour is great.

  • Just listened to MM on Triple M Rushhour with MG. For those who didn't hear it, he said the usual stuff about leaving it up to his manager (his brother) and just focusing on footy. However the telling line was he kept saying his management know what's best for his footy and where he can play his best footy. He also said he loves being at Parra. I'd be completely shocked if he left after hearing all that.

    • good stuff mutts. $1.01 staying

    • Awesome news . Thanks for sharing mutts

    • Just one small thing Mutt, his cousin is his manager at the moment.

Hope you are right about the signing.

  • Can't see Moses in a broncos Jersey .

  • I'd take NRL 360 with a grain of salt they have a bet each way most days.

If it comes to fruition it would be a great result if Staggs stays out of trouble

  • We'd probably want to offload Matterson now we have Papali'i but I think he, Matto, has an option in his favour. There is the distinct possibility that Matterson, after bailing out on the Tigers, might insist on taking up his option, given the concussion history he now has, just when Parra would rather he left. That would be ironic.
