Parramatta Eels halfback Mitchell Moses has been selected by the NSW Blues for their must-win match against Queensland in Game II of the 2024 State of Origin series.
Moses led the Blues to victory in the final game of the 2023 series, but missed Game I this year with a foot injury.
With NSW in need of a win to keep the series alive following their opening loss, Blues coach Michael Maguire has called upon Moses to wear the no. 7 jersey.
The playmaker has been in supreme form since returning from injury for the Eels, showing his class in the Club's past three matches.
With the Eels set for a bye in Round 16, he is expected to be available for Parramatta's next match against Newcastle in Round 17.
The Melbourne Cricket Ground will host Moses' return to the Origin arena, before the series heads to Suncorp Stadium for its finale in July.

Congrats Mitch.
Can smell a white wash
Usually hate when our guys get picked but this should help him find some more confidence and good experience. Long as he backs up v Newy I'm happy
He will be under a lot of pressure so good luck to him
Doest get much more crucial for Moses than this one. If he doesn't dominate I reckon he'll be marked never to play again . Good luck to him. Thought he may have played himself out of a jersey last night .
Yep he was BOG last night.
Well done
Hope he has a cracker we need him to come back confident and lift the whole side but I still don't see what the selectors have seen. He hasn't managed the last 2 club games against the dogs and choox and they think he will do that in a must win pressure cooker origin decider. I remember in years gone by mitch had a heap of try assists from kicks and repeat sets I can't recall 1 since his return Good luck like I said not hating I hope he has a cracker and nsw win
Although the bye helps it's still will be a tough ask for Mitch. He will be playing 3 games in 8 days if he backs up
