I found an article saying a kid called Mitch Black who plays 9 is going to come to Parramatta.
NSW Cup representative who I think took a year off?
He was highly touted and won a player of the year Knod in the Newcastle comp?
Is this legit? Sounds fantastic!

I don't want to post the Newcastle Herald article but here is a free article from a few years back:

I guess this is the outcome of Brailey not leaving and Matt Arthur signing.
I wonder if this was the plan all along.
Brendan Hands
Ryley Smith
Mitch Black
Jack Hudson
Lachlan Coinakis
Brilliant stocks, multiple Jr rep players.
Bring in the Cheese for 2026 to play the first 20 of the match then move into lock. 2 year 400k deal. Bring along these kids and see who clicks into a first grade 9!!
Not a fan of the Cheese, he is an impact player these days as he can cover any middle position. If the Roosters and the Storm don't want him we should steer clear. Ryles would know if he is worth a shot though.
Me either not a specialist hooker and that's what we need
I think the Storm wanted him and couldn't afford him.
Chooks aren't this great system who identify and retain great talent.
They ruin plenty of good players.
The Kiwis want cheese and pick him ahead of other good talents.
The reason I want him is because he can play 9 but makes impact through the middle, hits very hard in defense, leads line speed and works his ass off.
He would come and play 9 with the idea that as soon as they are ready a young up and comer can take over and Cheese just plays lock.
Smith and Hands would be a decent combo. Smith replaces Hopgood for some period as Hands takes over at dummy half.
Exactly LB.
I can't wait to see Hands this season, and to watch the emergence of Ryley through NSW Cup
Not that good that's why Knights don't want him.
What would the knights know. They've bought the slowest hooker of all time with Matt Arthur.
Athleticism really does run I'm the family
It's a play to get the real prize Jakey
