Dont think he will be coming here then unless he wants to stay in coaching, sounds like an easy high paying gig to me from the NRL
I think that's the reason for the offer to Madge, thing is though he will be under the control of Archer, and would the refs want an ex coach for that position especially one who has been none to backwards in bagging them.
The money on offer may be enticing so the question is, where is his heart, coaching or trying to get support in what is basically an administration job? I would suggest that the only way he would take the refs option would be if its big coin and too hard to refuse, but if he is good at doing the job and gets it done in a year, would the position be open for a longer period.
I would suggest that his heart is more pointed to coaching, if that is the case then the eels offer might give him a refresh and the combo of him and BA could really push new boundaries for them both and more especially Madge.
Fox is one of the more credible sources out there, but they did just say hes been linked
He flatly denies even speaking to BA or receiving an offer from Parra in todays Telegraph.
Who seriously knows anymore. Life goes on.
Ginger I think you're right in that he did have some role with the refs, it was another period of time with crap refs but nothing changed then & I doubt it will if another League coach gets a position there
