He gets a 7.5 from me for last year, he was solid without being spectacular and i think hes going to have an improved year this year with the support of some quality signings at centre in Auva'a and the Hoff, and Takas a lot more experienced too, i think Micks going to feel obviously more supported with better quality around him and his games going to benefit.

His defence is very good, thats only going to get better also, ive been a big fan of Mick as a player over his career and i recon he's got plenty of good footy in him yet..

Im pretty excited to see our centres next year, they'll be the strongest weve had for a very long time, weve got some quality depth there for the first time in a long time.

Your thoughts on Mick so far and what are you expecting from him this year?

Who do you think Brads going to partner him with?

  • He was great in defence for us. Him and Beau shored up each side of the field. He may not have blistering speed anymore but he can run all the lines and is a good support player. The opposition still feels worried by him which means he still has plenty to give. Our attack never got going so it wasn't a surprise that he didn't score a heap of tries. We missed him when he wasn't there so he's one of our key players on both sides of the ball. 8/10
  • I reckon average. 6.5 - 7 maybe. Needs to get more involved - too much waiting, not enough hunting. Would also like to see him out of Origin and focussed on Parra.

    • Won't be in Origin in 2017

  • Top 4 is a big chance i recon Ken, as long as we can keep Corey fit and out of trouble, he's going to be our leading half and only real half, without him we will be screwed, a real lot hinges around Corey this year.

  • 6.5 aveage last season but better than what we have had eg. Morgan. Being a soo player Iam expecting at least 7 to 8 every game this year.

  • As others have said he was fantastic in defense for us - he has always been a great defender, both technically and positional, and he was outstanding this year. He could have done with some more ball but I also reckon that will improve this year. He's always struck me as a player that does a couple of classy things a game but can also go a bit quiet as well.

One of those blokes that you expect to swoop in and score a try in most games - hopefully that will be the case in 2017 :)

Looking forward to a big year from him!

    • perfectly put...he's that type of player that can do something brilliant at any stage but has to be hungry to do so...hopefully Semi is given the all clear & still plays outside of him.

  • A 8.5 defensively & 6 to 6.5 in attack imo
