Surprisingly a name that isn't being thrown up for the head coach role is Michael Cheika. Would personally love to see him take over and coach Parra, did wonders with a subpar Lebanon Squad in the 2021 World Cup taking them to the Quarter Finals.
I'd assume he's still got a pretty good relationship with Moses who had big raps on him. He's finished up recently with Argentina and expressed interest in coaching NRL very recently. Would be my pick out of everyone that's available at the moment.

Ryles or Madge the two targets I think parra are set on, don't think they should gamble on cheika.
Ryles is a gamble too, he's untested. Madge is the only experienced NRL coach available but who knows where his future lies.
Has been studying under Trent Robinson and Bellamy, most sort after assistant for a while now. He's probably the leading candidate if you want a new look footy side.
Ryles is a gamble, any coach is a gamble. Bennett is a gamble as there is no guarentee that who you hired will succeeed, same as no guarentee who you sacked wont succeed elsewhere and all you needed to do was hold on for a little longer. But i would rather a gamble on a coach with actual experience playing at a high level and coach as an assistant in the game for nearly a decade, compared to a coach who has been only in Union his whole career, apart from a short stint as Lebanon coach in WC.
Madge is tied up with origin and ryles is untested. I would go cheika over ryles
Yeah not sure a coach with a union background would be a good signing atm. See what the club does but I'd be shocked if they picked him lol.
I do not see how Cheika over Ryles is easy decision. Cheika has very limited experience coaching League.
Cheika is a man manager and leader at international level. Assistants do a lot of the technical stuff. He did alright with Lebanon. I would be putting a head coach not an assistant. Taking a chance on an assistant is too risky.
Then again Darren, coaching rep footy is so much more different than NRL. The man management side that you say he is great at, and i agree, is suited to rep footy where that is the main focus of coaching.
Yeah Assistants can do tactical stuff, but at same time Cheika needs to get that message across of what the tactics are. If Cheika is hired i will be open minded and hope he works. As for hiring a head coach over an assistant, i hear the same thing in NFL when they say "Im tired of teams hiring coordinators or assistants over someone with head coach experience" Ummmm do not want to alarm you but those with head coaching experience were assistants at one point or another. Same with this, of late young coaches have been hit or miss and Ryles i was never overly sold on due to the fact he has never actually taken a team at a high level.
It is why i am having Madge as my favourite candidate.
Maybe ryles with cheika assistant
