I know we have been through it all as eels supporters and its 36 years and counting. The below gives a little perspective of what we have been through as Eels fans. Things could be a lot worse lol

The 1995 Eels now that was some putrid stuff. It puts BAs era into perspective.
Just a bit of fun ....check some of the names from back then hahahaha
Im glad I have forgotten these real dark days

Some decent players amgonst the rabble, Michael Ericsson, David woods, Morgan and Dallas Weston - I remember going to Belmore on Monday afternoon we were absolutely flogged fun times but also remember Brian Smith being announced as coach in that year and knew our fortunes would change
Sorry Mick, just to be a Karen I'm going to correct you... Smithy wasn't announced as Coach until the following year (announced 96, commenced 97). We also beat Bulldogs in 95... I remember it was a Friday night game (our one and only TV game that year) and Dave Woods carved them up! Had it taped on VHS and watched it over and over... fark, that is depressing. At least we beat the Premiers!
Reckon you can also add Chris Lawler, Marty McKenzie and Cameron Blair to that decent list....
lol Sikki I stand corrected, the bulldogs game I was thinking of was in 1993
cam blair I enjoyed watching underrated player
God, I remember that one too. We copped an almighty pizzling, after what was a pretty solid start to the season.
Scotty Mahon, there's another one!
I recall Vince Fawcett having a blinder that game too
Couple of meat pies, riding Woods' coat tails!
Cheers Para-Greg . Thank you for the memories. NOT just the FOOTY though because I lived 15 minutes walk from the stadium in that year 1995 . However I did not get to any game that season as my wife and I had 3 kids under 6 that year along with my busy work commitments. I believe I might have a 1995 eels team signed footy amongst my collection of memorabilia.
All Good Driza....gosh you had your hands full in 95 can understand why you didnt get to any games lol....hard to believe that was 27 years ago ...yikes
I went to all Parramatta home games that year as I was a season ticket holder, the team was was a product of Fitzgerald's policy of not paying overs for any player. In their defense they never gave up just weren't not good enough
Ah the memories, 1995.... the good ole days, before the internet and forums.
A mate of mine worked for pilkinton glass back in the day who were a sponsor. He would score tickets every home game and off we went.
Players would deliver the tickets every week to the office, dump them on the receptionist's desk and say here are tickets if anyone could be bothered going. Filled everyone with enthusiasm.
