Membership Numbers

As at 15 February Parra were third in the number of members.

Some of the figures are:

Souths 24034
Broncos 25167
Eels 17075
Dogs 15978

Raiders aren't confident in Sticky delivering as only have 6705 members while Tigers obviously think that are favourite for wooden spoon as they have guessed 5400 are now members.

Dogs were ahead of Eels until they won Auckland 9s and received a big boost.

Yeah we hit 15,000 on February 10 so another 2K + in 10 days is great stuff. I don't think we will surpass Souths or Brisbane this year but maybe Souths next year if we have a better season

We have some high profile supporters like Simon Baker. I'm a little disappointed that they don't use their profile a little bit to give the membership a push. The rabbits had bugger all members before rusty highlighted them in the media. Now is the time for celebrities to turn up in eels gear when they are being interviewed especially overseas given the interest in Hayne. We can be the biggest football club in Australia.

When you consider how little success we have had n the field in the last um 30 years this is a great effort.Just reminds everyone how big the Blue and Gold army is imagine how many members we will have when the Glory Days return

It really is amazing how an under-achieving club like Parra (apart from the decade 76-86) has the big numbers it has. I agree if we run into success in the next 2-3 years we'll sh*t all over Souths' numbers. I really don't think that they have more fans than us. It's a case of having shite marketing and a crap team for a long time.

I laugh at the Bronco's for being a one city (big one too) team and not having double of what they have.

  Actually you would be very surprised by the massive amount of people up here who detest the Broncos. There is definitely room for another Brisbane team but unlikely as the broncos have some heavy hitters who block all attempts.

The Logan Ipswich combined would be perfect geographical wise FH....they would get a packed house week in week out up here....

  I live near Ipswich and it not anywhere as bad as Logan man
