    • What's going on is that the media have an agenda to stop the club gaining any stability. Parra has a huge fanbase and we react to perceived crises by clicking on media websites and buying their newspapers. The absolute best thing for their sales is to keep pushing the 'Eels in Crisis' line.
  • Hahaha good onya Nonna!
  • This shit just never ends/

  • Surely the remainder of the dingbats left at Parra management, I exclude Gerrard and Schubert from this category, don't expect an arrangement like this to be negotiated by Foran's Manager approaching them. It will be a 1-1 discussion between Foran and BA

    • 100%

  • Exactly Pou.

  • we love you jarryd. it wasn't any one on the one eyed eels site who bagged you leavin mate. we knew you had a dream to follow and we all supported you knowing youd come back to us cuz..It was those roosters who infiltrated the website mate that's all. see you at training soon bro.
  • Thumbs up!!!
  • Moving on from Hayne was never meant to be.

  • 100% Pou. Which is why, believe it or not, as supporters, we are actually in very large part, responsible for the stories that keep on happening - we create a market for them to exist.

The best way to handle it?

Simpsons Halloween style to media and advertising - just don't look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlKao_Pox5A

Or if you must absolutely read up about these things, have a designated member across the forum and make them the only one who clicks on their links and then subsequently copy and paste the articles to 1EE and the rest can read and comment on it within the forum environment, rather than having 1000s of members from here click through onto the link and subsequently come back to share their outrage.

Many media organisations now survive on pay per clicks, pay walls and pure viewership/reach. If you remove their revenue source and stop reinforcing their behaviours, they'll either adapt and write better stories or they'll go out of business because no one reads them - as the audience, we actually dictate what they write and a need for them to exist.

If you want it to change, go away or even cease to exist, not clicking is the easiest way to do your part.
