Larissa if your out there I have just a minor rant on today's 'Member' only exclusive Pre Sale of Eels home games.
I do applause the initiative however it wasn't really members only, Quote from the member email received yesterday "Eels Members will have access to an exclusive Member-only 24 hour pre-sale'"
I received an email from Ticketmaster today alerting anyone who subscribes to the Ticketmaster emails of the 24hr pre sale today, I realise we get a discount on the tickets but anyone could have purchased them today denying members the ability to secure seats before general public.
I am only a non ticketed member but see it important to support the team in any way I can and get to a few games that I am able to, but every game released for pre sale today had the same block of seats available, and nothing closer to the centre than the 20mtr line. Surely for these so named 1 star games (e.g. Titans) there would be better grand stand seats available,there is not one seat available in the top tier of the Ken Thornett Stand for all home games, surely not every seat has been taken up by ticketed members or has already sold especially for some games 6 months out?
Feedback for next year, would love to see 3, 5 & 7 Game ticketed membership, a lot of clubs are now doing this, I know we offer 3 game GA admission but I would pay for flexible Terrace or Grandstand tickets, and it's guaranteed bums on seats for minimum 3 games for those that can't get to every home game.
