  Growing up used to like to wait around the back of the ground after games and get some footy cards signed most players were great but there was one...

  Would have been 1996 or 1997 but Dymock was leaving fancy sunnies, earring or two from memory and he had an entourage of 4 or 5 of his mates Dymock totally brushed me as I held the card and pen out then one of his mates grabs my arm and says "He doesn't [expletive] sign those"

  I met Brett Kenny when I used to work at my local charcoal chicken shop on the way to the storeroom. He was doing some shopfitting and took a photo with me after I bumped into him in the toilets, he was awesome and maybe even surprised I knew who he was.

  Peter Sterling, Brad Fittler and Gary Freeman stood out as particularly friendly at least when I've had interactions with them.
