Media reports circulating around the Eels' alleged interest in Paul Vaughan - currenly with Warrington Wolves in the Super League - are completely false.

The Eels do not and never had any interest. Sources within the club have confirmed this.

This is a lesson - for all of us - to be careful not to assume what we read in the media, social media, or listen on podcasts or believe to be potentially true has any substance in reality whatsoever.

  • Awesome, apologise for the blog this morning as it was all for nothing hahaha. Glad it is cleared up.

    • It's the off season LB, we need something to talk about.

      • The Trump talk could only go on for so long, so Vaughan reared his head to greet us ahahaha.

        • LB, I cannot imagine how many minutes of the people on here's lives you wasted with that Blog but when you get into your seventies they become much more important,

I still cant believe you wrote "umpteen" paragraphs illuminating the story, digressing into the "need" for a middle, then having further digressions into how much you would pay him, motivate a site launch into why we let RCG go and then the counters of us not letting RCG go but him going on his own volition......Lol

Your threat of "kiling yourself" in summary at this point puts a nice twist on it. probably up there in one of the highest rated "orf seezun"? blogs.....Sir Col would be up there chuckling now and Sluggy would be awakening the "pig". they would be proud!..... don't feel bad about it, its a classic!

The people that cannot disseminate fake news on here should just look at Wiz's posts, most of the time he is taking the piss and it should be a great leveller for most and at the least an opportunity to bring forward their sense of humour.....

There you go, I just wasted another 5 minutes writing this shit.

          • I said "the news nearly killed me" Poppa. Also, took 5 mins for me to write, as is evident with how disjointed i felt the blog was rereading.

            • Don't worry LB, we are just taking the piss!  You did fine, it was a classic.....if Snake was around he would have it up there with my "nepotism" blog.

              • Just wanted to clear important parts up hahaha.

  • Thank God for that. LB, are you trying to kill us all? LOL

    • The news nearly killed myself in the process.

      • LB, it's okay mate. You didn't know the media reports were misleading and false. It doesn't take much to  guess where all this bollocks came from.

Apologies you copped some flak for writing the blog. I had to close it to ensure we weren't all going round in circles chasing our own tails in a self-created, fictional multiverse.

I can see a silver lining. It's a mirror to see how our own belief structures and assumptions (biases) work - we all have them. It's only human. We're all emotional, limbic creatures: it's our native, mother tongue.
