I will bet that Cricket Australia & the AFL would not dare showpiece one of their events on a ground such as this.
I was at the game last night and fuck it was terrible. No pre-game entertainment, they blocked off the main entrance for Madird and Roma to go into the stadium for a good 20-25 minutes when they couldve blocked off the ones not connecting the footpaths from the city, the players obviously werent putting any effort (except for Gervinho of Roma) because they were probably worried about injuring themselves on that fucking cow paddock and the tickets were wayyy overpriced. They didnt even have any hype-up video and that was the catalyst for the quiet ass crowd.. The most exciting thing of the night was people throwing paper planes from the top level onto the field ffs.
