  • Interesting Wile; the plot thickens and guess it is a good strategy to have the article with the snippets of truth, and then let the information come along.

Is it me be cynical or why is the SMH that breaks these stories and NOT the so-called RL paper tele?

    • Because the SMH journalists can actually investigate things properly and report them factually. At least some of them. The Tele is all headlines, no substance and mainly speculation.
  • You would think this would put pressure on the NRL to either get on front foot start looking at all clubs or look like gooses that the Media are doing a better job running the game...

    • The NRL have never been on the front foot with this. Every single decent salary cap scandal has been uncovered by the media.
    • If it's as imbedded as McClymont says the NRL can't do anything. For all we know members of their executive could be implicated. If her investigation reveals members of the Commission are involved then we could be seeing a revolution of the NRL.
    • If love that super, I love a good revolution .
  • True but now the media is going harder then ever at the Salary cap.. You Think Todd would be smart..

    • The NRL probably have a vested instinct in the bagmen and that system, good journos don't?
    • That could be it
  • McClymont is incredibly thorough. She really knows how to get to the bottom of the issue.

"De Belin will do a lot of the clean up work, the 3rd man in for our defence. Hopgood is now not alone in that area. He will not be flashy but he will definately do his job."

"positives are Loiero is out. That is a big piece of their middle, he does a lot of clean up work in defence, tightens up the attack. No Katoa and they are umming and arring whether to play Ativalu Lasati or Joe Chan on right edge.
