Now Reed was by no means the worst but he was off tonight.
Could it be that his disruptions from the last few weeks might of been a destruction.
Obviously finalising the contract but also having to give Evidence at a criminal trial can take your focus away from footy.

Hopefully Reed and the rest of the team bounce back

or maybe not but it was a poor night out for the whole team
I love Reed, has been my favourite player when i saw him in 20's. With that said you are a professional footballer, this is your occupation, if you go into work you are expected to perform, none of this stuff should be an issue if you choose to turn up.
So your able to show up to work and leave distractions behind?
Depends what distractions of course, a death in the family or family member that is ill for example is a massive distraction no matter what you do
But he was not being tried in court, he was testifying for a friend, granted for a serious charge but that shouldnt effect your game to the point of being awful
How many players you seen lift by playing a game after their father died for example?
Yeah but a trial where he was a key witness plus the worry that his statement could make him look bad alot of distinctions then couple itvwith a off night for the team.
He will learn from it as he gets older he will only have more destructions
The last 4 weeks has asked a lot of questions of this young super star with his chief playmaker and game manager out fo the equation, he has taken an enormous amount of punishment the entire year and more so the last 4 weeks. the little bloke has had to up his game which he has, he was still the top tackler last night from either team i think. He will be okay, and this small blip will spur him on towards the finals no doubt.
