"Cause people think worse case scenario to prepare for it thinking it will happen. The way we can be confident to subpoena the NRL we ain't bending."
"Negotiations are a good thing, it's better to avoid a court imposed ruling if possible. There's nothing to suggest we aren't going to stand our ground and get what we want."
"Eels need a winger not a forward "
"Considering the straight bat the Eels have played so far in this saga, I'd be amazed if we wouldn't just turn around and use that as another example of how the NRL are trying to manipulate their preferred outcome in bad faith."

Great stuff - we need all our bully boys on deck for the local derby.
F**k i'm lovin' this footy season - how good is it having a pack that hunts and destroys :)
Gotta agree kram. For the first time in a long time i'm watching our matches with real excitement. I'm also enjoying these close games knowing we can actually win them. In the past if the game was close with 5 or 10 to go id be thinking , we're gone.
Yeah - how good is it FME!
Watching Foran shut that game down on the weekend was nothing like we have become used to over recent years. The way he was finishing sets, slowing them down and just shutting them out was amazing.
Some may find it boring, but for us Parra fans it was a thing of beauty :)
Kram it reminded me in some ways of the team we had in late 90's with Smith, Pay, McCraken and Dymock, and guys like Raper and John Simon. We seemed to have close games but the defence was tough. I still get excited thinking of that minor semi in 98 against Norths at Parra. We absolutely smashed Norths in defence; and young Cayless and co were coming through the ranks....
Yep that was an awesome pack too Mitchy. I can see that self belief, like an arrogance, in the pack we have now. No doubt our excellent defensive stats to date are a product of the systems BA has put in place but it's got a hell of a lot to do with sheer physicality as well.
It's like they've got a bit of a strut goin' at the moment and God help anyone that gets in the way :)
Yes spot on mate; the physical presence is important; I used to love watching Pay and Jason Smith
