Matty Johns Makes SHOCK Call On The Eels

The Triple M Grill Team is previewing two teams as they head into the 2017 season… and it was the Battle of the West today with Penrith and Parramatta.

Matty Johns believes both teams are headed for very good seasons, but Parramatta will shock many following an horrendous year.

“They’re going to be a Top 8 side - I see them finishing between fifth and 8th spot,” said Triple M’s Matty Johns.

I don't think much of Johns as a person but I do respect his opinion and I think he's on the money here. Geyer predicting bottom 4 can only be a good thing given the number of head knocks he took whilst playing combined with limited intelligence to start with

In reality t could go either way really. And I don't say that as a shot at the quality of out side but I think it's going to be very tight this year and 2 points could really seperate 8th and 12th....

In 2017 we are a team of unknown quantities . I think best case scenario is where Johns has placed us (ie between 5th and 8th) and unfortunately things could unravel and it all could of very pear shaped for us . Despite what many of you think about Guth, I'm not convinced would LOVE to be wrong. No established goal kicker to add the extra 2 points for all semi's tries out in the corner will be costly for us too.
