Learn the rules mate. If you're wearing the blue and gold you must not do anything even remotely wrong or you will end up suspended or fined or rubbed out forever.
However if you're the reigning premiers or media pets you can basically get away with stabbing a player or even decapitating one in front of all and sundry, and you can be rest assured to be let off... It's fucking disgusting, the NRL are either biased as fuck or they are all on the spectrum in HQ.
Thanks Tank for the clarification. I was unaware that it is a colour thing. I'll petition Wikipedia to edit the MRC summary to include "unless the offender was playing against Parramatta as these incidents fall under the arbitrary rule".
We usually see it in every game, a traditional niggle that fires teams up so they go harder at each other but now it's a finable offence.... sometimes!
