According to NRL Physio on Facebook, Matto has a rib cartilage issue and is in doubt this week. NRL Physio is usually pretty accurate.

Rodwell or Marata to start with Brown onto the bench
Niukore will start and Brown to the bench, easy swap.
Unless BA wants a back-rower on the bench he can just start Brown. Rodwell, Maka and Oggy are all middles, putting Brown there would make it 4 middles on the bench.
I wonder if this is one of Matto's short term injuries that becomes half the season on the sidelines.

Unbelievable. As much as I like Matterson as a player it really amazed me how a lot of players perform out of their skin when a new contract is looming but as soon as a new contract is signed they seemingly get short to long term injuries.
It's called being injured...nice spin on the story.
