Fingers crossed for Matto and a speedy recovery. HIs bad concussion history is a big worry. Poor week for the bloke and all the media BS contract talk as well. Good thing we've got depth and big Papa and Marata can slot in.

He will miss a week or two he's had some issues before last year he missed a few games after a knock.
Waqa was on crutches after the game so either Marata stays in the centres or if not he goes in to the edge. Stone will probably go onto the bench
He needs a proper break. Don't know if it will help. There is nothing you can do once you've been concussed so many times, it just happens a lot easier
It's game 2... how much of a break do you need him to have?
Enough for him to stop getting concussed nearly every time he cops a head knock?
Cordner is out for 12 weeks before playing a game this season. Matto getting into that territory where it's more about his overall welfare. I'm sure he'll be wanting to play next week but is that what's best for him?
Still doen't change the fact he is regularly knocked out and should be rested for a considerable amount of time. All clubs have a responsibility here, they can no longer ignore the long term effects associated with this type of injury
How did Kaufusi stay on the field? Rules state that for foul play resulting in injury it's a minimum 10 minutes in the bin. Kaufusi should get a few weeks for that. It was a full blown elbow to the head knocking a player out.
Even BA admitted that in the presser - he has never done that before.
It was a low act by Kafusi
should rubbed out for 10 weeks if fairdinkum about player welfare and attacking the head.
Yep that rule was brought in at the start of the 2018 season, and I remember Jennings getting 10 for hitting a panthers player as he was falling to the ground in round 1. That incident had nothing on what happened to Matto tonight.
I was in utter disbelief that he didn't get at least 10 minutes in the bin. He has always been a sly grub
