Matt Ryan?

What ever happened to the Eels player Matt Ryan who played a few 1st grade games some years ago when Fui Fui was around? He was a tall lanky forward who wasn't too bad a player with lots of potential.

  • Seriously i rated this guy!
Was playing A grade for guildford owls a year or 2 ago.
Ryde Eastwood Hawks junior he was.
    • I also thought he had a good future. What happened to him? Where is he playing now?

  • dodgy knees killed his career

  • Last time I checked or updated his Wikipedia he was playing for Guildford in the Ron Massey Cup.
  • Got my hopes up and thought it was click bait and were going to talk Atlanta Falcons football.

  • As I remember it he was one of the reasons we were over the salary cap. Ricky Stuart got rid of him but we had to honour his contract, or at least part there of, while he played in England. This meant we couldn't attract an NRL standard/average player to replace him without getting some tpas involved to get around the cap. What a mess.
  • https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Ryan_(rugby_league)  He’s the ranga born in 88.

  • He's only 30.too young yet to be considered for an Eels contract.
  • Left england tried to get a gig in the NRL couldn't now playing for Guildford
  • Hangs out with Norman a lot
