- Lowerd price to $ 300,000
- Bulls have now got Marc Herbert
- Canberra frustrated Orford has not signed with them yet
- Nothing on Canberra and Orford
- Only Parra/Orford
- Transfer fee still $ 200,000
Matt Orford has given into demands to lower his asking price he has beleived to lower his price round about $ 300,000.
Now talks between Parra/Orford have been revived and it is beleived that Orfords manager will be taking nessarcary steps to getting Orford to sign with the Eels in 2011.
By the way on many forum sites the same thing pops up about Orford lowering his asking price and will most likely join the Eels for the 2011 season.
I personally dont know how to react to this news i was looking foward to Mortimer/Murray combination in 2011.
But if what i have found out is true i dont think anybody will be complaining about Orford joining the Eels in 2011 but lately he has been acting like a little A**hole.
While reasearching this there was nothing about Orford/Raiders only about Orford/Parra.
As far as i know Orford compensation fee is not on the salary cap. I have no doubt that Orford/Parra deal will not exceed 2 years and this will be backed by third party deals.
It says on some forum sites that Matt Orford will make up his mind this week Wednesday or Tuesday it is beleived he will sign with the Eels for $ 300,000 check maybe the Wednesday or Tuesday papers.
Let me point something out parra were so caught up in the JT controversy they forgot about Orford but parra knew they had Orford i there back pocket. Let me tell you something if Orford wanted to sign with the Raiders he would have done it by now. Parra wouldnt agree to sign Orford a fortnight ago because they were interested in JT.

He's treated his Bradford contract like a joke, and done bugger all for them. Now he wants a big pay day for his limited services, give me a break.
But he can accept what he's worth, and that sure as hell aint $400,000 for three seasons. If the rumours are correct.
But in saying that i would happy to have him here in 2011 if he lowers his price tag
I wonder if we'd possibly see a switch with Robbo. That might put a dent in the transfer fee at least, and I think he'd be more suited to superleague.
I don't particularly want to see him leave, he gives his all each week and he's a great bloke. But i doubt he'll be holding down a permanent spot in the side from next year. It'd be in his best interests to look elsewhere, and it was rumoured he'd attracted interest from a few superleague clubs.
