  This is what I don't understand. DA has seldom been concerned about dropping players to Wenty. When he's done it, in the case of Inu, Grothe and now MK, they've come back the better for it. Which is why I don't get why he has just continued to persist with Dan. It's quite obvious his confidence is just absolutely shot right now.

    Maybe the decision has been taken out of DA's hands?! Osborne might be leaning on DA to make sure Mortimer is in the 17 week in week out to help save face... Anderson doesn't strike me as the type of coach who would bow down to orders from above but stranger things have happened in the past....

  MK gives quality dummy half service. He may not have the allround game of a Bedsy or the flair of farrah but he could develop the niggle of Ennis and be a very solid player. Actually at the Dogs he would be a hero. What a shame we have no style of play for young players to gel into

    I agree when the fullback has to come in 2 dummy the play is way to slow

    For everyone that keeps saying this, I'd love for someone to go through the replay and mark down on what plays MK is slow. I'm not sure if your referring to his pace or his service, but certainly he is no slower than say an Ennis in terms of pace. This is not a pisstake, I'm interested in what people are seeing because I don't see it myself.
    
    Certainly, I never saw how Jeff Robson gave faster service than MK, and not once during Robson's stint at nine did I hear anyone saying that he was slow.

  Have we all forgot how bad MK was this year. One good game means nothing. Mortz at dummy half. MK can come off the bench.

    Is a player not allowed to have a form slump, get a kick up the bum and come back a better player. The coach has said, go have a spell and work on your game, he comes back into grade and plays well - what more do you want from him? We actually had a bit of decent direction in the first half from dummy half, so it was no surprise that DA was reluctant to bench him.
