I think its time to give MK a wrap. During our recent winning streak, a lot of our flashy players have been getting all the media attention whilst MK has been going about his job in a workmanlike manner. I must admit i was an MK knocker at the start, and would have preferred to keep Kinga instead of him. But it looks like he is now becoming a quality first grader and i think he can play a major role in our run towards the GF.His passing is improving, his kicking game is improving and he is learning how to sniff out a try. Well done MK, glad to see a Parra junior living up to the hype instead of crumbling under the pressure of expectation. Every team needs a freak like Hayne in their team, but every team also needs a guy who is no frills and justs gets the work done..MK is becoming this player for us (along with "the Todd")

    • Quit your jibber jabber!
  • It's taken almost 2 seasons for MK to produce such a good performance in first grade, and he still wasn't even in the best 3 players on the field. I like what MK brings to the team, defensively he is strong, and he doesnt make many errors. He just isn't dominant on a regular basis like the top quality hookers are.

Kingston can bring what MK does and more. I am now however resigned to the fact that Kinga will be leaving us next season, so MK will have to continue to step up in his abscence. Hopefully Anthony Mitchell will also fulfill his potential that he has shown as a junior.
    • He isn't dominant on a regular basis because players such as Morts and Hayne are given preferential ball, which is understandable.
  • Apart from his outstanding game against the Dogs, I fail to recall any other game where Kingston has outpointed MK. It was obvious then and it is obvious now - he's the best rake at the club!

As I've said before, he's not Cam Smith, Robbie Farrah or Michael Ennis just yet but those three took several seasons to become the dominant forces they are now and MK is 22 and in only his 2nd full season.
    • You honestly have absolutely no idea!
    • dont say shit unless u know what ur talkin about if we wanted 10 consecutive wooden spoons wed hire u as coach until then get lost and keep ur oppinion to urself
  • mutenchops you are an idiot talking rubbish he is the best we have and he will be around to annoy you for years to come as our no 1 hooker.
  • We, as Parra supporters, are pretty hard markers. Earlier in the year, we were all calling for the heads of Robbo, Lowrie & Inu - What is different now is that we are winning - Out of the previous 3 players mentioned, I believe Robbo has been the one that has had the bigger influence in the turnaround, (apart from Hayne) - He has guided & worked with the young star of the future, (Morts), & now they have a fantastic combo!! - & they can both tackle!! - which takes the pressure off the forwards, & enables them to 2nd phase, because they're fresh & searching for opportunities - Hats off to our halves!!! - Looking forward to them versus Soward & Co!!! Speedbump (Soward) & Speedbump Jnr (Holdsworth)
