His passing wasn't on the money . Moses had to stop and reach back on more than one occasion , and he wasn't bringing the forwards onto the ball well.
He is not ready. He doesn't need to be playing NRL in 2024.
Maybe BA would've stopped sulking by 2025 and should present him with his 2nd jersey by then .

You play NRL you can be critiqued. It's part of the job .
I'm not saying he's hopeless , I'm not saying he cost us the game .. I'm saying he's not ready . Just because we're last we don't need to be throwing a bunch of blokes into NRL who haven't developed their games to levels the NRL demands. It's harsh , it's also reality.

What game were you watching. Our forwards were getting smashed so he was not able to do much. His service was fine. He did struggle a bit in defence but that's largely due to the fact the forwards in the middle gave him no help. Ofc he is not elite but he got a valuable taste of FG
Mate I know you rate him . Watch our middle in the time he was on the field . He lost almost every tackle he was in. Their play the ball in his time was rapid . The period after half time he got completely rolled through the middle .
Hes an undersized 9 who has to get his technique spot on with and without the ball . It isn't up to that level .
look at the energy the knights forwards had to start the second half and the energy the eels forward had. Thats purely mentality of the club. thats not on MA.
It's on his inability to win the middle . It's completely understandable . Hes on debut and he's undersized. I have reservations on his long term potential given his size . Hes Tom starlings size without the zip in attack. For him to be a long term player he's going to need to be on top of a lot of areas in his game . His service is going to need to be great and his tackle technique is going to have to make up for his physical limitations . His game isn't there yet.
Its not his inability. Its on our forwards having zero line speed and poor first contact. And then our outside backs not providing any yardage.
They're also contributing factors but you can't lose the ruck like he did.
Rather than this being a straight out attack on MA which some dumb dumbs will make it no doubt .. the club needs a bit of a rethink about how they bring youngsters through to the top grade . We've got 2 blokes in the side at the moment that aren't ready to be playing the positions they are and that's not even factoring in blokes like Sean Russell who aren't first graders.
