The Eels have, come next week, five prop forwards. Tim Mannah,Danny Weeks, Richy Faoso ,Peni Terepo and Junior Paulo. Assume that they are all selected for 1st grade, and will be replaced, as I believe that they ought to be, then each of them will play for 80/5=16 minutes!--assuming that they all play equal time. That ,of course, means they play a total of 8 minutes per half!
Any front rower could cope with that "work load". Might it not be a worthwhile tactic having our props doing their 8 minutes per half at 'full bat' or high intensity--running fast, running hard, running straight, tackling hard and often (as per St George)? No side could compete with them. This of course, is positing that there would be no other replacements than props replacing props. Adjustments would have to be made for real life situations. Worth a thought.

Yes ,I withdrew that blog and had indications that, that occurred. It never happened it seems. If one speculated that we had six props then the minutes would somewhat approach what I had in mind but I can`t see any any team going in with six props. "It seemed like a good idea at the time!"
HAHA This is funny....
oh you were being serious..... sorry
Junior Paulo can't be picked until round 11 against souths.
