STAR Eels duo Feleti Mateo andKrisnan Inu will leave Parramatta at the end of this year after agreeingto terms with the New Zealand Warriors.
The pair broke news of their decision to team mates and coach Daniel Anderson at Eels training earlier today.
The Warriors have been chasing both players for several months are believed to have offered Mateo a whopping $350,000-a-season to switch clubs.Parramatta wanted to keep the talented utility, but simply did not havethe space under their cap to match the Kiwi’s offer.
Inu – whodebuted for New Zealand in 2007 - was always tipped to leave Parramattaafter his indifferent form during the past two seasons.

Mateo will play 5/8 at New Zealand and steer the ship around - we didn't consider him in those terms (wrongly in my opinion as I have said on numerous occassions) so therefore we couldn't pay $350,000 for him, end of story!!!
