  • That ship has sailed.
    Mateo isn't coming back.
I'd much prefer see Horo playing in the lock position, because he'll at least give 100% every game, and he still has room to grow to become an even more damaging ball-runner than Mateo.
    That's just what I think.
    • ricky, this wouldn have been a problem for mateo if he was wanted in the first place, rather than being told early in the season to look elsewhere
mateo probably isnt coming back but he should be there and welcomed back by all
thanks again management for screwing that up!!

al, yes he has silly errors in him, but no one else can provide us with what he can - he is capable of cutting teams to shreds
  • Needs to improve his defence and think occasionally. That play the ball against the Rabbits was schoolboy stuff.
  • Is this in relation to Mateo or Horo Al?
    • Horo. Isaac Luke ran right through him for that try. I think he's got ability but I'm not as wrapt in him as most people here seem to be.
      • Fair enough Al.
There's always room for Horo to improve no doubt, so his defence will be something that he would address, but I think attack wise, he's coming along nicely, and will be able to fill the void that has been left by Mateo.
        • Ricky/Brian, I'm hopeful he'll develop into something special as well.
          • I reckon he can.
He's got the skill and shown the potential, he just has to back it up now in 2011.
  • No no no no no. He is gone and I for one am happy about it. Would rather see Inu stay than Mateo and thats saying something.
    • well what do u say to someone who makes such a ludicrous comment like this
inu over mateo????? u have no idea!!

"Yep... it is all about balance and the "reality check" is what is needed. Even going back and just getting ourselves a couple of relative error free games, cannot be a bad thing at this point. Bazball analogy still has the requirement of elite…"
