Match review committee

In light of the precedent set by the judiciary with David Klemmer non sentence for touching a referee it will be very interesting this week to see if Kieron Foran will be cited for touching a referee?!?!Now in no way do I endorse or believe that a player has the rite to touch a referee in any form, a precedent has been set by the NRL and Foran, if cited, should not have to answer any questions asked!Further to citing of players will Aiden Tolman be cited? I was very surprised that nothing was said on the field when Moeroa went down about the head hit by Tolman.However, it does concern me somewhat that Foran (being a Parra player) will be cited and suspended!

Well Foran barely patted him and said thank you. If that's an offence then NRL might as well strip us of our 4 points and tell us to compete for no more points.

No he wont and being a parra player has nothing to do with it.

The NRL wont strip our points until late in the year

and then it be to late to make the semi

then and they will take 10 points of us or more if have to so we don't make the semi this year

The NRL don't wont Us to make the semi so they will do everything they can to make that happen

No, they can't cite Foran now the precedent has been set. But in the off season if I were the NRL I would be issuing a blanket rule that you can't touch the refs for any reason. Its getting ridiculous and if you want the young kids in the game to show any respect to referees you have to start with the NRL. It doesn't matter if they are not being aggressive, players should not go anywhere near refs full stop.

  Yes Michael, I agree completely with you. For the no touching rule to be enforced now an edit needs to be issued by NRL. Currently anybody can touch a ref as long as non threating.
