Some mail is that Matt Ryan might make his Eels debut this arvo.
He looked big but slower than the others in the forwards group he was warming up with. Could be that he knew he wasn't going to get a run and had no real reason to try and keep up with the others.

how the hell does Matt Ryan come in ahead of Horo? They are really sending a message to Horo that he is unwanted if they are putting players like that ahead of him.

Horo is injured at this stage anyway. Out for 2-3 weeks.
ok I was unaware of Horos injury. They need to keep track of Wentys injuries better, they only report the main guys normally.
On that note, Lasalo has been going awful so new blood wouldn't hurt too much.
Guess we'll see if it's Lasalo or Reni (due to injury), that makes way.
